Missions & Ministry

missionariesMen’s Missions

Men’s Bible Study - Check our church calendar for the dates of this study. Men enjoy the fellowship with each other as they enjoy sound, Biblical teaching!

March Madness is a one-day basketball tournament (on a Saturday in March) for men. In the morning individual teams compete to win, lunch is served and then an inspirational speaker is enjoyed. This has been a great evangelistic and outreach tool for our men of Faith.

Women’s Ministries

Women’s Care Group typically takes place at Faith Church every other Tuesday eveing. All women are invited and encouraged to attend this great time of learning and fellowship.  Check our church calendar for the dates of this study.

Ladies Day of Inspiration is a much-anticipated day in the Fall for women from Faith, as well as women from various churches in our area. On this special day, a group of approximately 100 women enjoy an excellent female speaker, a talented soloist, a delicious luncheon and a meaningful time of fellowship with other women.

The Spice of Life group is a newly re-formed group of young-at-heart 55 and older adults. All are encouraged to attend the variety of activities that are planned. They meet the third Tuesday – every other month at 1:00 PM. If you’re 55 or older and you’re interested in having a great time with other senior adults…you’ve come to the right place!!!! Activities are announced regularly in the bulletin and/or on the church calendar.

Small Group Ministries

Individual Small Care Group Bible Studies/Book Studies have been formed to bring individuals together in a more personal setting. Fun, fellowship, sharing, learning and developing Christian accountability are among the focuses of our existing adult small groups.

Contact the church office to see how you can be involved in a small group.

Evangelism Outreach Committee

Faith Church is committed to changing lives through “Action Which Meets Others Needs” as well as “Inviting People to Christ” … both of which are stated in our church’s Statement of Purpose. Our Evangelism Outreach Committee is a group of loving and caring individuals who work to provide opportunities for our Faith family to reach out to the community and to provide assistance to those of our Faith family in need. Various activities and events are arranged throughout the year in which friends, family and the surrounding community are invited to enjoy great food, fun and fellowship. Inspirational speakers, worshipful music and life-changing testimonies are heard and are an encouragement to all who attend. This committee has also developed our “Helping Hands Ministry” in which volunteers from our Faith family help those in our church, people in our local area and local outreach ministries with various odd jobs such as yard work, painting, and general household repairs.

Missions Committee

“Missions” plays an important role in the life of Faith Church. Currently we support 14 missionaries, 5 mission and evangelistically focused organizations, as well as various short-term missionaries that are sent out from Faith Church each year. Our Missions Committee is responsible for the spiritual, financial, and practical support and accountability of full-time missionaries and national pastors and their families. They are also responsible for planning and executing a series of large events we call Missions Emphasis on an annual basis to focus the church body’s attention on the call each believer has to get involved in reaching the world for Christ. As a committee and as individuals they are constantly challenged to grow spiritually, grow in their love for our missionaries and the people they serve, and their love and communication with one another.
